2016 / editorial

New catalogues for Cassina are conceived according to a coordinate visual identity. Typographic codes, colours, modernist graphics, iconographic materials, they all tend to emphasise historic and cultural values of this brand – that has given its contribution in creating Italian design history along the years. Locations have been chosen for their architectural and design features, while products are merged in a refined but friendly vision of contemporary interior design – opposite to the concept of “system of furniture”. Studio FM has curated the graphic project and Art Direction.

I nuovi cataloghi Cassina sono concepiti secondo un sistema visivo coordinato. I codici tipografici, i colori utilizzati, l’impostazione grafica di ispirazione modernista, la selezione dei materiali iconografici, tendono a sottolineare i valori storici e culturali dell’azienda, la quale ha contribuito negli anni a creare la storia del design italiano. La scelta delle location è stata determinata dalla qualità architettonica e progettuale degli interni, l’ambientazione dei prodotti Cassina è concepita rispetto una visione colta, accessibile e creativa dell'arredo contemporaneo, contrapposta in particolare al concetto di “sistema d'arredo”. studio FM milano ha seguito il progetto grafico e l'art direction.
